Tom ('92) and Dianna ('90) Denney are living in Williamsport, PA, the home of the Little League World Series. Tom is preaching full-time at a new church, Faith Christian, and Dianna is restarting her home-based business with HENN and home schooling their children – Joshua, 12 and Lydia, 4. Dianne also assists Tom's ministry by working with the worship and youth ministries.
John ('88, '90) and Peggy ('84) Bush celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and their 16th year in full-time ministry this summer. They are thankful to the Lord for his blessings.

Steven Chrisman has begun a new position as the Middle School Principal for Hillsboro City Schools. He continues to preach at Medway Christian Church, as well. Steven and his wife Patti are expecting their fourth child (boy) within the next couple of months.
Cindy (North) Logan was married to Doug Logan on March 10, 2007, in Joplin, Missouri. Doug teaches history at Carl Junction Junior High School, and Cindy is on the faculty at Ozark Christian College.
E. Tommy Baker (MA) completed twenty-five years in ministry at First Church of Christ in Burlington, Kentucky. The church had a surprise party for him as part of their Missions Fair last summer.
Stefanie (Bigelow) Ahlers and husband Jon are living in beautiful North Bend, Oregon, on the coast. They have adopted a 17 year old, Charleen and a 2 year old, Katie. The Ahlers are part of a home fellowship network church which meets in homes. Stephanie sings in a worship band on Wednesdays and has recorded her own CD with a second CD project in process.
Joe ('91) and Mari Knott were married in March of 2005 and are excited to announce the birth of their baby girl, Bianca, on November 15, 2005.
Rick Chromey has earned the Graduate Doctor of Ministry from George Fox University – Leadership in the Emerging Culture. His project and dissertation focused upon training professional ministers via e-learning portals.

Rick Chromey is in his fourth year as Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Kentucky Christian University. He recently became a regular columnist (Age 10-12 Insights) for Children's Ministry Magazine. He is also been a presenter for 10 years.
Mark Wilson is working with the German church planting organization Kontaktmission, laying the groundwork for a new church plant in Germany.
Jason ('93) and Sara ('92) Jones are the proud to announce the birth of their first child, Jackson Thomas Jones, born April 18, 2006 . The proud grandparents are Tom ('51, '55) and Ruth ('68) Friskney.
Alicia (Wiemeyer) San Nicolas married Jamie San Nicolas on August 16th, 2005. They are living in Minnesota and expecting their first child in December 2006.
John Murphy was invited to go to Ukraine by a friend. A year later he was assisting in a church plant. Later he sensed God calling him to write down his story. The result was the book: A Dumb American in a strange Country: Finding God Where You Least Expect Him! (13.99, paperback, 978-1-60032-411-4) It is a book telling one missionary's remarkable story and is peppered with both humor and practical advice on finding God's plan for your life. John has ministered in Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia before starting the church in Odessa, Ukraine. He is also the author of Answers in the Book designed specifically for reaching the Muslim Community. It can be downloaded free on his website www.odessamission.com.
Kim Booker shared this update about her progress since her accident. After reviewing her CT and X-rays, the Doctor has allowed her to stop wearing her neck collar and released her to drive and work. She has become a Mary Kay consultant which will enable her to stay home with her daughter most of the time. She is most appreciative of your prayers for her and her family.
Kevin Morrow ('94, '01) is beginning his fourth year at Ozark Christian College as a full-time faculty member. He teaches Biblical Archaeology, Biblical and World Geography and Old Testament related classes. His wife, Rebecca (Hamm) works in the financial Aid Department at OCC.
Graham and Heather Thorpe welcomed a new addition to their family. Kyla Rose Thorpe was born on September 28, 2005. Mother is still teaching 5 th grade and learning to balance being a mom and a teacher.
Jenny (Skiver '95) and Matthew Mosier are very proud to have added three beautiful children to their family in the last year! All three adoptions were finalized within a 10 month period. They are Zimere Michael, 7; Lucas Daniel, 3; and Abbie Rose, 1.
Derek Sweatman became the Senior Minister at the Buckhead Christian Church in Atlanta on April 1, 2007. Derek and his wife Micki, whom he met at CCU, have a five year old son Alden. Derek had been in Youth Ministry for 15 years.
Jeff ('95, '02) and Carrie ('95) Derico rejoiced at the birth of a son, Jeffrey Zachary, who was born on November 2, 2004. His big sister, Mackenzie, loves her little brother.
Josh ('96) and Tara ('99) Bowers announced the birth of a son on February 22, 2007. After a long and difficult labor followed by C-Section, Donovan Michael was born and joins his three big sisters, Sydney, Brooke and Zoe.
Dan and Laura (Richardson) Altman were married on July 22, 2006, in Arlington, Texas, where they currently reside. Dan is a psychologist for the Dallas County Juvenile Justice Department and Laura is a 7th English teacher with the Fort Worth Independent School District. Both are active volunteers at Richland Hills Church of Christ, where they met.
Tanya (Jones) (1996) and Brian Wirtz were married in Cincinnati on August 18, 2006. They will reside in Cincinnati. Tanya is in here fifth year of teaching at Harrison Christian School. In addition to teaching 4th grade, she coaches volleyball and basketball and is advisor and editor of the yearbook.

Dan Altman graduated with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University in August, 2005. Currently he is working at a community mental health agency in Arlington, TX where he works with probationers and parolees in groups and individual counseling sessions. Also, he is training to specialize in forensic psychology, working with the courts and with offenders.
Jared ('97) and Rhonda Adamson announced the birth of their son, Israel Cole, who entered the world on March 19, 2007. Jared says, “He's a genius, destined to play piano and basketball. He'll also be one of the first to join the “Fourth Generation Club at CCU.”
Karis Pratt is working in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with The Garden of Hope, a ministry to women and children in or at risk of situations of prostitution and trafficking. Look for an article in the January edition of Christianity Today.
Kevin and Leslie ( Harrison ) ('97) Busch gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on August 16, 2006. His name is Noah Michael. See picture to right.
Brad Johnson recently received his PhD from the University of Glasgow, UK.
Brad ('98) and Taryn Stone's world has been changed by the birth of Taytum Young on September 22, 2006 . Brad and Taryn say they never knew how much love they could have for someone until she was born.

Scott ('98) and Holly (Rauch - '97) Gibson are pleased to announce the birth of their fifth child. Crew Ryan was born on June 27, 2006 weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. He was welcomed home by big brothers Cross (7), Sage (6) and Crayton (2) and big sister Sailor (4).
Kristen and Bill Wilkinson are now living in Maryland just outside Washington DC. They are working with a church plant called Journeys Crossing. The church was planted by Bill's older brother, Mark ('85). Bill is doing Youth Ministry and sings in the Worship Team.
Kati ('98) and Drew Smith are thrilled to announce the birth of their third beautiful son! Spencer Alan was born December 26, weighing 7 lbs., 9 ozs. He was welcomed by brothers Jackson (4) and Tyler (2).

Kelly (att'd) and Steve ('98, '02) Carr celebrated the birth of their daughter, Kaelyn Rhae on February 12, 2006.

Chad ('99) and Emily ('02) Werner have just celebrated their 9 th wedding anniversary. They have a son, Benjamin, who is 2 and Abby is expected to be born in December. Chad has been a pastor at Vineyard Eastgate for seven years and has also worked full time for a Christian Drug and Alcohol Recovery Center called Teen Challenge Cincinnati - www.teenchallengecincinnati.org
Derek Pottinger began a new ministry in July 2006 as Battalion Chaplain in Hawaii representing the Christian/Churches of Christ to the U.S. Army community. In addition he also is co-pastor at the Main Post Chapel and will be teaching a "Christianity 101" class. His email is derek.pottinger@us.army.mil.
Marcia Compton has moved back to Indianapolis and is working at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. in Avon, Indiana as a Licensed Therapist.
Beau ('99) and Sheila (Gallagher) Vanderbur ('00) are now ministering with the Sycamore Christian Church in Cincinnati . Beau is the Senior Minister. They were married in 2000 and have 2 children, Emily Grace and Zachary Ryan.
