Amy (Lyday) ('00) and Mark Campbell ('00) announce the birth of their first child, a son, Braden Edward Campbell. Brady was born Monday, October 16, 2006 and weighed 8 lbs, 11 oz. See photo.
Abby Landis is currently living in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. She is teaching 4th grade at Escuela International Sampendrena, an international and bilingual school. She plans to stay in Honduras for the next 2 years.
Chris ('01) and Sara (Burns '00) Cox are thrilled to share the news of the birth of their daughter, Sunnie Grace Cox. Their healthy baby girl was born on April 5 th, 2006 weighing 6lbs 7oz. Chris and Sara are in their 7 th year of ministry at First Church of Christ in Xenia, Oh where Chris is the Pastor to Student Ministry.
Mark and Amy (Lyday) Campbell are thrilled to be expecting a new baby, a bundle of joy, a special gift, be it girl or boy, on October 3, 2006.
Brandon ('01) and Amy (Brinkdopke) ('01) Mayden are pleased to announce the birth of Jasmine Elise on May 23, 2006 . She weighed 7 lbs., 2 ozs. and was welcomed by her big brother Evan.
Kevin Morrow ('94, '01) is beginning his fourth year at Ozark Christian College as a full-time faculty member. He teaches Biblical Archaeology, Biblical and World Geography and Old Testament related classes. His wife, Rebecca (Hamm) works in the financial Aid Department at OCC.
Matt ('02) and Leann ('03) Bean are extremely happy and blessed to announce the birth of a baby boy on March 20, 2007. Hunter David weighed in at 7.8 lbs. and was 20.5 inches long.
Jacynda ('02) and Josh ('03) Lynch had their first child, a sweet baby girl, Hadley Grace, born on June 7, 2006.
Brandon ('02) and Lindsay Carbaugh welcomed Connor Lee into the world on October 30th, 2006 weighing 8 lbs 1 oz.
Clay ('00, '02) and Krista ('99, '02) Haas have a new a new addition to their family. Lainey Elizabeth was born on July 14, 2006 . She joined big sister Kaitlynn, 4 and big brother Josiah, 3. They are all excited about this new miracle that has joined the family.
Jennifer ('02) and Brian Davis are the proud parents of a son, Finn Gabriel, born on October 28, 2005. He is a true gift from God. (See photo at right).
Jeff ('95, '02) and Carrie ('95) Derico rejoiced at the birth of a son, Jeffrey Zachary, who was born on November 2, 2004. His big sister, Mackenzie, loves her little brother.
Sameh ('02) and Abbu ('02) Fahmi are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Nour Elena, born February 11, 2005. (See photo left).
Jason ('02) and Tiffany ('02) Judd have been blessed by their new baby girl born on March 30, 2006. Her name is Avery Nicole and she weighed in at 9 lbs. 5oz. (See photo at right).
Beth McCabe is in the process of publishing her MA thesis with University Press of America. It is entitled An Examination of the Isis Cult with Preliminary Exploration into New Testament Studies." When it is available it will be listed in the alumni section of the www.CCUBookstore.com website.

that as of March 22, 2005, he has been engaged to marry Mandy
Rolle of Rosedale, IN. They are planning an April 2006 wedding.
Susan Galvin and her husband finished another school year in Ukraine
working with university students.
Kelly (att'd) and Steve ('98, '02) Carr celebrated the birth of their daughter, Kaelyn Rhae on February 12, 2006.
Kyle Jamieson Wilson was born on February 15, 2006 to Becca ('02) and Brad ('02) Wilson.

Jason and Annie (Springer) Double ('03) had their 2nd child, Jack Robert, on March 9th, 2006. Jack is also welcomed by 2 year old big sister, Abby Reese. Jason is serving as Director of Worship and Christian Education at Springfield Church of Christ in Springfield , Ohio .
Chis Gobin was called to become the minister at the Seaman, Ohio Church of Christ beginning on August 6, 2006. He and his wife Whitney served most recently with the Liberty Christian Church in Indiana.
Priya (John '03) and husband Ben Richmonds have been blessed by the birth of their first child, Kezia Divya, on May 20th, 2006. Grandparents P.V. ('81) and Molly John came all the way from India to welcome their granddaughter into their lives.
Jolene Smaage completed her hours for the Clinical Counselor license with the State of Ohio. In July of 2006, she opened a private counseling office with three other Christian Counselors in Heath, Ohio. The group is called Associates in Counseling and her practice is Haven of Hope Counseling Services, LLC.
Jason Morrissey and his family have moved from Fort Myers, Florida to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He is the Student Minister at Northwest Avenue Church of Christ in Tallmadge, Ohio.
Dr. Cornell Morris Phillips(MA '05) answered the Savior's call to rest at the age of 51 on Nov. 6, 2006. He had been told on June 16, 2006 he had cancer. He was an Associate Minister of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jennifer, two sons, Arron and Johnston and a daughter Ashley and two grandchildren.
Ron Moniger ('05) moved with his family from Wheelersburg, Ohio to Portsmouth, OH. He is a certified technician witt an environmental compliance company.
Roger Foggin ('05) began a new ministry in October as Senior Minister of the Center Community Church in Plainfield, Indiana .
Joel Riehle was ordained on October 30 th at the Lake Avenue Christian Church of New Carlisle, OH. He is beginning his service as a Youth Minister at Community Christian Church in Hamilton, OH. Participants in the service included Johnny Wilson, Randy Warner and Doug Riehle, Joel's father.
Matthew Sacksteder and Jamie Jernigan were married on May 20, 2006 at Fairmount Christian Church in Mechanicsville. Jamie is working as a licensed counselor at Intercept Youth Services and Matt is a Police Officer for the City of Richmond, VA.
Bob ('06) and Holly Jo Hightchew are excited to announce the birth of Becca Jo on February 25, 2007 weighing in at 7 lbs, 8 ozs. She joins a brother Caleb Joshua and sister Abby Jo.
Dawn ('07) and Louis Webb are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, Keira Marie Webb. Keira was born October 3, 2006 and weighed in at 6 lbs, 13 oz. She is a gift from God, living proof that God answers prayers. PHOTO
