SPIRITUAL RENEWAL ON CAMPUS

"On to a Better Day"

The Faculty and Staff are determined to take CCU to the next level of success. We want to increase enrollment, improve campus facilities, expand degree programs, enlist new donors and develop a stronger culture among our students and alumni. But in order to accomplish any of these objectives, one important ingredient is needed. It is for the CCU family to seek God's face and His will in our planning and work. Dr. Faust is leading a spiritual emphasis on our campus with the theme "On to a Better Day" . Here is what he said about this effort.

"I believe the Lord wants to bring revival to CCU - revival that will lead to a new era of freedom, joy, and effectiveness in our ministry. I believe a fresh wind needs to blow in our midst. But in order for CCU to reach our full potential there are sins that need to be confessed, relationships that need to be mended, bad habits that need to be broken, trust that needs to be regained, and spiritual power that needs to be sought." Dr. David Faust.

We want our alumni and friends to also be involved with us in this time of spiritual renewal. Would you join us on this quest and commit to pray for us daily or weekly throughout our second semester?

  • Pray for us as we have kicked-off "On to a Better Day" at our chapel service on January 17.
  • Pray for the presence and power of God to change and encourage the lives of all the CCU family including trustees, staff, faculty and students.
  • Pray for us to confront and deal with any spiritual issues that might hold us back.
  • Pray for us to all "raise the bar" in our walk with Christ.
  • Pray for the RA's, D Group Leaders and class officers as they lead activities.

Thank you for your support and prayers as we grow closer to the Lord and to one another on our journey to a better day.
