CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW . . . GOOD!

Greetings from the Hill!

Every year after the Super Bowl it seems to be the same routine; those who stayed up to watch the game come into the office tired and usually fill the morning with water cooler conversation such as “Can you believe that official's call?” or “Did you see that catch?” However, the most frequent question asked is “What was your favorite commercial?” Over the past two years my favorite commercials have been the Verizon Wireless commercials that feature the all too familiar slogan; “Can you hear me now?” All of us who own a cell phone can identify with the situation of having to ask the person on the other end that familiar question, hoping to still be connected. Often this is not isolated to our cell phone conversations, but in our various relationships and partnerships. Our purpose for this newsletter is simply to help keep our supporting churches connected with the ministry that is happening here at CCU. In the monthly newsletter we will feature such things as

• Updates in various departments such as academics and athletics
• Highlights of our students in ministry
• Current events that you or your church can attend
• Highlights of our Alumni in ministry

I once read from a trusted source “The only thing better than a good time is a good time shared.” This year at CCU had been nothing less than a good time as well as a productive time for our students and a beneficial time for the churches they are a part of. We hope that you will enjoy hearing of our stories here from CCU as we strive to Build Christian Leaders One Person at a Time to Serve the Church and Shape the World.
