GREETINGS FROM THE HILL!

This fall has certainly been a busy one here on the Hill.  From students to faculty to staff it seems as if there is one event happening after another, constant activity on campus – and I love it.  There is nothing like feeding off of the energy that is at CCU right now. As I take time to catch my breath I am amazed at what CCU had seen already this school year.   Several of the highlights this past fall include:  

• An incoming freshman class of over 200 students
• We hosted the first annual Public Servants Chapel where we had over 20 policemen, fireman and elected officials joined us for a special chapel service in their honor. 
• Our Second annual Golden Eagle Golf Scramble attracted over 130 golfers;  50 more golfers from last year! 
• Our Indianapolis and Cincinnati Lighting the Hill Breakfasts raised over $150,000 in one time gifts, five year pledges, and gifts in kind.
• Our soccer team finished the regular season ranked third in the nation, Mid-east regional champions ( over KCU 7-0 in the finals) and will go on to play in the national tournament Nov. 3rd-5th in Kissimmee, FL. 
• Ken Idelman and Jeff Walling enriched our students and local church staff by leading the third annual CCU preaching summit on Oct 18th.

Wayne Gretzky, the greatest hockey player of all time said that the reason for his success was “he went to where the puck was going to be, not where it was.” We hope where you are going to be in the near future is with us here at CCU, taking in some of the ministry impact and see God moving on our campus.  Several events happening in the near future that you will want to put on your calendar are:
