Students may repeat courses in which they earned low or failing grades. The University has no limit on the number of times a course may be repeated, but the credit for the course can be counted only one time. The grade earned the last time a course is taken is the grade used in computing GPA. All previous grades on repeated courses are changed to R.
A student may use federal financial aid to repeat a course only once. The regulations on academic status and satisfactory progress apply to all students, including those who receive federal financial aid.
