To begin the financial aid process, a student should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.gov and include CCU in the school section of the form. The Financial Aid staff will use the results of the FAFSA to determine eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant, the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and Federal Direct Loans. The Ohio Board of Regents also will use the FAFSA results to determine Ohio College Opportunity Grant eligibility.
All paperwork for financial aid should be completed in a timely manner to allow time for processing before the semester payment due date. Students who do not submit financial aid documents early enough to meet the published due date for payment arrangements will be responsible for paying their bills using other resources until financial aid funds are in place.
