APPLICATION PROCEDURES

To apply, all candidates must complete the following steps plus the specific application items that pertain to their status (traditional freshman, home-schooled student, college transfer, international student, non-traditional student):

  1. BEGIN THE APPLICATION PROCESS EARLY!
    Deadlines: July 1 for Fall Semester and December 10 for Spring Semester.
    All applicant paperwork must be submitted no later than 10 days before classes begin. After classes begin, no exceptions will be made. Scholarship application deadlines may vary.

  2. APPLY. Submit a completed application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee.

  3. Send two recent PHOTOGRAPHS. (i.e. a senior picture, recent snapshot).

  4. Request that official transcript(s) be sent of all high school credits (with seal and authorized signatures) showing course work and grades as well as class rank through at least six semesters. The grade point average should be expressed on a 4.0 system and the class rank indicate exact position out of how many in the class. Applications acted upon after March 1 must include transcripts through the seventh semester. GED certificate of Home School Completion Verification is acceptable in lieu of a high school diploma.

  5. Forward results from either the SAT I or ACT test. If taken more than once, show all results. The SAT I is offered seven times each year. The code is 1091 for SAT I. The ACT is offered five times each year. The code number for the ACT is 3248.

    Scores may be sent directly from SAT I, ACT or included on your high school
    transcript.

  6. Complete the Commitment to Christian Lifestyle Form and return it with your application.

  7. Complete the top portion of the MINISTER REFERENCE QUESTIONNAIRE and give it to the minister. Be sure to mention that the questionnaire needs to be completed and returned immediately. If an applicant or his/her father is the home minister, ask an associate minister, youth minister or elder to complete the questionnaire. No action will be taken on your application until this form has been received.

  8. Complete the top portion of the PERSONAL REFERENCE QUESTIONNAIRE and give it to the persons chosen, asking that the questionnaires be completed and returned immediately. Relatives are not permitted to complete the personal reference questionnaires.

  9. Complete the top portion of the ACADEMIC (or EMPLOYER) REFERENCE QUESTIONNAIRE and give it to the person chosen, asking that the questionnaire be completed and returned immediately. (Non-traditional students should have this form completed by their supervisor at work)

  10. The admissions process is not complete until final transcript is received after high school graduation, showing the appropriate seals, markings, and signatures as well as the date of issuance. All official high school transcripts must be sent directly from the high school to the Admissions Office.

  11. The College has a rolling admission policy whereby candidates are notified within 7-10 days of completing the application process.
