The Board of Trustees of Cincinnati Christian University is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Tracy as the institution’s eighth president. Ken had been serving as interim president since February. He succeeds David Faust, who announced his resignation on November 1, 2013, after 12 years of service.
A 1988 graduate of CCU, Ken has 27 years of financial and executive leadership experience and is currently president of TaleMed, a national healthcare entity which has been recognized as one of the top healthcare consulting companies in the United States. Since 2005 he has served as Trustee and Chairman for Miami Township. A resident of Loveland, Ohio, Ken has remained involved at CCU as a volunteer on the President’s Advisory Board and by serving as the part-time men’s basketball coach. He is an ordained minister and has been active in church leadership, currently serving as an elder at Milford Christian Church in Milford, Ohio. Ken and his wife Libby (a 1987 graduate of CCU) have been married 26 years and have two daughters, Katelyn and Kristina.
Board Chair H. David Hale states, “our prayers have covered the process for selecting the next president of CCU. After opening the search process, we ultimately discovered that the best candidate for the job was already occupying the office. We are confident that Ken’s faith and professional experience are exactly what is needed to lead this university into the future.”
The Inauguration Service for Ken Tracy will take place in the Chapel on September 25, 2014, at 7:00pm, coinciding with CCU’s Homecoming festivities.
