On Monday, October 12th, Ken Tracy announced to the Board of Trustees his intent to resign as President of Cincinnati Christian University. Tracy, the eighth President in the school’s history, will continue to serve in the role until October 31st. Tracy expressed a desire to return to the corporate world. He will immediately resume his role as president of TaleMed, a nationally recognized healthcare consulting company.
Tracy was appointed interim president of CCU in February 2014. The Board affirmed him for the position permanently in May 2014. In a letter to the CCU Family, he reflected on his experience, claiming, “For the last 18 months I have had the extraordinary privilege of serving as your president. This time will be a highlight to my professional career. I will always be grateful for your trust and friendship. For my wife, my family, and my personal ministry, I strongly believe that the Spirit is calling me to embrace new opportunities.”
The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees is organizing the search for the university’s ninth president.
