eLearn
provides a great educational tool for some—evaluate your motivation,
your time and your discipline to see if it is right for you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
eLEARN courses are scheduled during Fall
and Spring semesters with the same start and ending dates as regular
classes. Some courses are also offered online during
the Summer.
Classes currently use an online learning system called
Moodle to access course materials, view lesson instructions,
interact with class members, and take online tests. Registered
students receive access to the Moodle sites for their courses.
Many courses include resource CDs with multimedia
or interactive content in addition to regular textbooks. The instructor
will inform you how these are to be used in the course.
Before you get started, we strongly recommend E 4 ME.
The Ohio Learning Network provides an introductory online learning
course called E 4 ME. In one month you learn how to become a successful
online student, determine your technical and online skill levels,
and find help determining the best program for your needs.
