Cincinnati Christian University Announces “BEYOND
THE CALL” Service for Public Safety Workers
Cincinnati, OH September 14, 2005- Cincinnati
Christian University has announced it is hosting “BEYOND
THE CALL,” a recognition service
for Public Safety Workers.
It will take place in the Worship & Ministry Center (WMC)
on the CCU campus in Price Hill
on Tuesday, September 20. A reception in the WMC will be held
from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m., followed by a special service in the Chapel
from 10:00 to 10:50.
The service will include:
- Recognition of local firefighters and law
enforcement personnel
- The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department
Bagpipe Corps and the
and the Police Honor Guard
- Testimonials and interviews
- The inaugural presentation of CCU’s
“Beyond the Call” annual award given in recognition
of police officers and firefighters who have gone the extra
mile in service to our community
A number of local government officials,
media representatives, and CCU students, faculty, and staff will
be attending this event. The public is invited.
