Admission Requirement


High School Unweighted GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale)
Minimum scores on one of the following tests:

  • Composite Score of 19 or higher
  • English Score of 18 or higher

Combined Score (critical reading, writing, and math) of 1010 or higher plus

  • Writing & Language score of 25 or higher


Transfer Students with more than 24 Semester Hours of Coursework

  • A minimum college grade point average of 2.0 is required for admission. Additional admission requirements may apply.
  • An official transcript is required from all previously attended colleges. Institutions should be accredited by institutional and professional agencies recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
  • Transfer students with less than 24 hours of college credit will be required to follow standard admissions requirements for first time students.


Students who do not meet the full admission requirements, may be eligible for conditional admission by meeting these standards:

  • 2.0 Unweighted High School GPA
  • ACT: 16 Composite, 14 English Sub-score
  • SAT: 890 Composite, 19 Writing and Language Score

A student will be required to take remedial English if test scores are:

  • Lower than 18 on the English section of the ACT
  • Lower than 25 on the Writing & Language test of the SAT
  • A student will be required to take remedial Math if test scores are:

  • Lower than 19 on the Math section of the ACT
  • Lower than 24.5 on the Math test of the SAT
