Commuters | Cincinnati Christian University

Cincinnati Christian University’s urban location means that we have a higher commuter rate than many Christian colleges. All students who reside within the I-275 loop are permitted to live at home, but are also welcome to live on campus. For those who choose to commute, we offer a variety of programs and services.

Commuter Lounge
If you’re looking for a place to hang out between classes, look no further! Located on the bottom floor of the Crouch Building, the CCU Commuter Lounge is a space dedicated specifically for your use. There you will find lounge spaces, study spaces, public computers, a TV, and a kitchen (including a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, and Keurig). The Commuter Lounge is the perfect place to socialize, study, or eat lunch.

Locker Rental
Want a place to store your books and supplies between classes? Stop by the Campus Store located in Presidents Hall in order to reserve a locker for the semester. Lockers are located in the Commuter Lounge.

Food & Dining
Whether you need to grab something quick or want to sit down for a nice meal, there are plenty of options on campus to choose from. The Hill Top Coffee Shop is the perfect place to grab a quick bite between classes or sit down for a cup of coffee. The Hill Top also offers students free use of a fire pit, patio warmers, and grill. Commuters can also purchase a commuter meal plan, which can be used in the Student Union.

General use microwaves are located in the Eagles Nest, the Student Union, and the Commuter Lounge. Beverage and snack vending machines are located throughout campus. For questions or concerns regarding The Hill Top, Student Union, or Vending, stop by the Dining Services Office located on the first floor of Presidents Hall.
