Cincinnati Christian University is glad to offer a number of worship opportunities hosted weekly on campus. The two most popular events are Chapel and Family.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the campus shuts down for Chapel at 10:00 a.m., and we gather for worship led by our House Band made up entirely of students. Accompanying worship and other creative elements is a message from a member of the CCU community or a guest speaker. Chapel is open to all; you will usually find a mix of students, staff, and faculty present.
This year, Small Groups will meet on Thursday mornings after initially worshiping together in the Chapel at 10:00. Small Groups, led by faculty, staff, and students, are ideal for sharing, accountability, relationship building, and prayer.
Our Family worship gathering is on Wednesday nights. The 10:00 p.m. time caters to those with full daytime schedules, and this service is entirely student led. Speakers, worship, and creative elements are all programmed and carried out by a lead team consisting of a range of class representatives. Although staff and faculty are welcome to attend, this service has become uniquely student-oriented, and thus mainly has student turnout.
Any questions or comments pertaining to Chapel or Family can be directed to Bobby Jackson, our Campus Community Worship Coordinator.
