Marketing/Communications Internship Position
Position Description: Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the company specifically assisting with digital media, email marketing, social media and marketing projects.
General responsibilities may include:
· Contribute to social media updates (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, etc.)
· Assist in content creation needs for social media, email, etc.
· Create/design marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, logos, memes, etc.)
· Update website when needed
· Research content ideas
Specific responsibilities:
· Assisting marketing campaign managers with administrative reporting, project flow and internal communications
· Assist with marketing campaign research and reporting (hashtag research, etc.)
· Work with marketing campaign managers to implement digital media strategy, including generating daily content, identifying key influencers, daily monitoring of social platforms and generating digital media reports.
· Create graphic design concepts for print, online, and digital collateral
· Assist with maintaining content databases (photography, video, quotes, graphics, etc.)

Marketing/Communications Internship Position
Specific Qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal, verbal (including phone work) and written communication skills
· Basic computer processing skills including Microsoft Office and Internet
· Experience with all social media platforms (
· Interest in Special Events and/or Hospitality Industry
· College coursework or comparable work experience preferred
· Previous internship experience is preferred
· Preference will be given to college juniors and seniors and those seeking academic credit
Compensation: Paid Internship (90 day trial period) College credit is also highly encouraged and available upon school approval.
Time Commitment: This is a part-time internship (5-10 hours per week on average); the hours and time commitment are flexible to be set between the supervisor and the internship candidate prior to the start of the internship.
