MAC Program Outcomes

The Master of Arts in Counseling program at Cincinnati Christian University is regularly evaluated through several methods to ensure curriculum and training remain current and meet the identified needs of the counseling profession. A Comprehensive Assessment Plan (CAP) is used to strategically evaluate program outcomes through the following methods:
– Student Self-Assessment (SSA)
– indicator assignments evaluated on Taskstream
– student transcript reviews
– Student Progess Assessment (SPA)
– clinical evaluations (formative & summative)
– MAC comprehensive evaluations (CPCE)
– faculty annual review of program objectives, syllabi, and curriculum
– biennial survey of current students
– biennial survey of MAC alumni
– biennial survey of site supervisors and employers

The results of these self-studies are publically distributed to students, prospective students, faculty, staff, program stakeholders, and university administrators on an annual basis.
