Behavioral Science Faculty Member

Cincinnati Christian University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to begin with the Spring or Fall 2019 semester. The Behavioral Sciences department at CCU includes both an undergraduate program in psychology and a CACREP-accredited Master of Arts in Counseling program, offering a distinctive educational experience in an urban setting. The position will call for teaching, advising students, supervising clinical work, initiating research, providing administrative leadership for the overall department, and engaging in university and professional service.


The qualified individual will have an earned doctorate in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. Preferred candidates will have experience with diverse populations, teaching in higher education, and strong knowledge of CACREP accreditation requirements. Preference will also be given to individuals with administrative experience. Salary and Rank:

Will be commensurate with educational level and experience.

Proposed Starting Date:

July 1, 2019, is the effective contract date and reporting date for a candidate hired for the Fall 2019 semester.
