Description

Cincinnati Christian University invites applications for Registrar, a full-time (12 –month) position.  The registrar reports to the Chief Academic Officer but has responsibilities that intersect with multiple departments of the university.

Responsibilities

The Registrar is responsible for accurately and confidentially managing student records; supporting creation, implementation, interpretation, and enforcement of academic policy and curricular changes; overseeing academic course scheduling and student registration processes; and maintaining the security, reliability, and responsiveness of the university’s student information system.  The Registrar counsels and advises students, faculty, and staff on academic matters.  The Registrar supervises all staff members in the Office of the Registrar and works effectively across campus constituencies to promote transparent and effective logistical academic processes for students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

Preferred applicants would possess a master’s degree in educational administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.  They should have demonstrable competence in systems management and technology.  In addition, successful candidates must demonstrate an enthusiastic commitment to CCU’s distinctive Christian mission and must be able to sign the university’s Statement of Faith for employment purposes, as posted on the university webpage.  Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Rank:  Will be commensurate with educational level and experience.
